City Bakeries Van 1960 framed print A4

Size A4

There is something undeniably captivating about Glasgow's West End, especially when looking back at the bustling streets of the 1960's.

Explore our collection of framed prints - a series that offers a completely fresh, yet deeply nostalgic, perspective on our city's history.

This curated collection features original 1960's photographs of the West End that have carefully and sympathetically restored to full colour.

The process of colourising these historic images was done with a light touch, specifically to ensure they retain every ounce of their original vintage appeal. Rather than looking like modern digital creations, the subtle tones breathe new life in to the street scenes, highlighting the textures and sandstone buildings, the fashion of the era, and the gleaming chrome of the classic cars, while preserving the authentic, atmospheric charm of the original black-and-white captures.

Whether you are a lover of local history, a fan of mid-century aesthetics, or simply looking for a statement piece with a real sense of place, these frames prints make a perfect addition to any interior.
