Nancy studied at Glasgow School of Art specialising in Ceramics. She worked from her own studio at Saltoun Pottery for several years before opening her first shop thirty years ago in Glasgow's Princes Square, selling unique craft work.

She never completely abandoned her first love, and still makes pots and paints in her studio. 

Each piece is a unique one off, hand thrown and hand glazed in Glasgow.
