The Nancy Smillie Shop opened in Glasgow’s Princes Square in 1988 before moving to its current location just off Byres Road in Glasgow Westend where it has become the go to destination for Contemporary Jewellery Craft Gifts and more . Nancy studied at Glasgow School of Art specialising in Ceramics. She worked from her own studio at Saltoun Pottery for several years before opening her first shop over 30 years ago in Glasgow's Princes Square, selling unique hand thrown ceramics, beautiful jewellery, art and hand-blown glass. As the business grew, we diversified into furniture and lighting, and expanded the jewellery department to stock some of the most exciting designers form across the UK and Internationally.

In time the business outgrew it's city centre premises and we relocated to Cresswell Lane in the West End of Glasgow, where we have continued to expand our range of gifts, jewellery, stylish furniture, and clothing. While still offering the same excellent craftsmanship and work at affordable prices, that has always been our guiding principle. Do visit out shop to see our full range.
